WHAT.A.YEAR. 2020. Is that all ya got? This was supposed to be our year. On March 5th, we had an offer accepted on a cute little duplex with an incredible view of the hills. We had been working on saving towards the down payment since 2015... and our dreams of becoming homeowners again were finally becoming a reality. On Friday, March 13th, I pulled my 4th grader from school before the end of the day for a walk-through of the property... Little did we know, she would never step foot inside her classroom again for the school year. The sale of the home never completed for several reasons, and on March 18th we retreated into our rental home with our family, and followed the 'stay home' orders issued by our governor. SIGNS OF LIFE... In early June we decided to start to dip our toes back into the buyers market, and on June 11th, 2020 we had an offer accepted on a cute little single family home on a corner lot.
